The nutritious Mediterranean diet originates from the people of Crete’s eating habits, with all Mediterranean countries following suit. According to their eating philosophy, olive oil, legumes, whole grains, fruits & vegetables should be eaten regularly in order to maintain their healthy diets. While fish, dairy products, wine and meat should be eaten in moderation.
Our cooking has been passed down through the generations from our grandmothers who cultivated these styles of dishes in their villages in Northern Greece.
